Rating for The 2013 Republic of Texas Biker Rally 5 View slideshow: 2013 Republic of Texas Biker Rally The annual parade on Friday night made the Guinness Book of World Records back in 2006, as the “Longest Parade of Motorcycles Known to Mankind”. Austin police escorted the bikers from the Expo Center to downtown Austin, on an 11 mile stretch. 20 blocks of downtown Austin were blocked off for the parade, as motorcycles circled around Congress Avenue, while onlookers cheered from the side. There were bikes and attendees of all kinds (see slideshow of pictures). Once the parade was over, the bikers parked on Congress Avenue, and enjoyed the Austin nightlife.
